It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Curfman of Sunnyside, Washington, who passed away on April 17, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Curfman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Verhoef and Mary Ann Verhoef; her husband Lloyd; her son Dale Lee; and her siblings, John Verhoef, Melvin Verhoef and Gladys.
She is survived by: her children, Irvin (Sarah Curfman) of Grandview, Glenda (John Abercrombie) of Yakima, Ken (Cindy Curfman) of Yakima and Sue (Brian Potter) of Potlatch, Idaho; her siblings, Ina (John Kaser), Eileen Norton and Richard (Gerry Verhoef) of Grandview; her sisters-in-law, Donna Verhoef, Donna Briskey and Lucille Hathaway; and also Lucille (Kenneth Hathaway). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren.
With Covid restrictions in place visiting was limited to video calls and window visits.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mitochondrial Research Guild, a special interest guild of Seattle Children's Hospital.
