She is survived by: her husband James Sowers; her daughters, Dantha Cole (Gary), Linda Desmarais (Dennis), Karla Berglee and Valerie Biehl (Thomas); her grandchildren, Lynn Devoe, James Browning (Serena), Emily Golladay (David), Nate Biehl (Dana), Rebekah Padgham (Andy), Daniel Biehl (Angela), Lisa Desmarais, Landon Berglee (Katie), Johanna Sharpe (Todd), Seth Berglee, Caleb Biehl (Shayla), Zechary Berglee (Michelle), Abigail Hatch (Thomas) and Ariel Starcevich (David); her stepgrandchildren, Brent Cole (Susan) and Lisa McCauley (Jay); and her siblings-in-law, Martha McCallum, Bobbie Sowers, Lorene Maxwell, Nellie Wilkes and Dale Sowers (Ginny).
