He was predeceased by: his parents, Pablo Fernandez and Lucia Fernandez; and his siblings, Jose, Guadalupe, Pablo, Francisco Sr. and Maria Fernandez.
He is survived by: his children, Norma Fernandez and Israel Fernandez Jr.; his stepsons, Julian Davila, Ruben Garza and Adam Sanchez; his siblings, Ruben Fernandez, Maggie Fernandez and Julie Fernandez; his grandchildren, Vanessa Chavez, Maribel Chavez, Israel "Chico" Fernandez, Sophie Chavez, Cassandra Chavez and Jadah Chavez; and his girlfriend Maria Camarillo. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home (528 S 8th St, Sunnyside, WA 98944). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens (7800 Van Belle Rd, Sunnyside, WA 98944).
