He was predeceased by: his mother Theresa Scofield; and his siblings, Kathleen Clapp and Tom Clapp. He is survived by: his father Gerald Clapp of Arizona; his wife Wendy Walker; his sons, Collin of Sunnyside and Ryan of Zillah; and his sister Patty Sweet (Chuck) of Marysville, WA. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
