She was predeceased by: her daughters, Mary Lou Ruelas and Kim Cruz; her husband Kip Atkins; and her siblings, Althea Goor and Douglas Boyd.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Franzoni, Rocky Simmons (Laura) of Sunnyside, Dave Simmons (Dorris) of Yakima, Dewain Franzoni (Karen) of California and Wesley Simmons (Cherrie) of Tennessee; and her sister Charlene Slatder of Oregon. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
