He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Kirkland and Shirley Kirkland; and his brother Mark Kirkland. He is survived by: his wife Rita Weinand; his children, Melissa Kirkland and Daniel Kirkland; and his daughter-in-law Alexandra Robins.
