She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Smith and Ola Smith (Woodcock); her husband Troy Lee Owens; and her children, Dewayne Lee Owens and Elizabeth Ann Pawelek.
She is survived by: her children, Mary (Andy Haarmeyer) of Lovington and David Owens of Tacoma, Washington; her daughter-in-law Cindy Owens of Lubbock, Texas; her siblings, Elmer Wayne (Charlotte Smith) and Linda (Bill Boss) of Lovington; and her nieces, Lucinda and Susan Falkner. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
