He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Dixie; his parents, Ed McAllister and Esther McAllister; his son George; his daughter-in-law Angie; his daughter Anna; his son-in-law Phil; and his children, Pamela and John. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 1 brother, 6 sisters and 5 brothers-in-law.

Due to the covid-19 restrictions the services were restricted to immediate family members only.

Memorial donations may be made to CHI Franciscan Hospice House.
