She was predeceased by: her father Allen Shearer. She is survived by: her husband David Sherrod; her mother Judith Sherrer; and her siblings, Kevin Sager, Gerald Sager (Jan), Thomas Shearer (Brianna), Stacy Shearer and Kelly Sawyer (Bruce). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
