She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Rice and Effie Rice (Crigler); and her sister Carolyn. She is survived by: her husband Loren LeRoy Skidmore; her children, David (Teri) of Merrill, Mary Kathryn and Kathy (Douglas) of DuPont; her brothers, Ronald (Patricia) and Richard (Susan); and her pet Abby.
