It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William H Griffies of Tacoma, Washington, who passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gayle II and William Hudson II; his brother Andrew Pontz; and his stepdaughter Robin Erickson. He is survived by: his wife Donna Erickson; his sons, Scott Griffies MD (Sophia), Mark (Janice) and Stephen Griffies PhD (Adi); the parent of his children Jean Griffies; his grandchildren, Brandy, Chris, Elizabeth and Francisco; and his sister Katie Pontz Chidgey (Jerry). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
