He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Herbert, Dixie Hyde and William Leupold; and his stepmother Dana Murphy Leupold. He is survived by: his fiancée Sarah Van Etten; his parents, Elizabeth Hyde and Martin Leupold; his sister Hannah Bison (Shane); his siblings' children, Blade, Esther and Betty; his siblings, Lydia Leupold (Aaron Akimoff) and Silas Leupold (Emily); his nephew Gideon; his half-brother Daniel Leupold; and his stepbrother Joshua Murphy. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The pandemic gave them a chance to hike nearly every day and explore together.
