She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Griffin (Flading) and Edward H. Griffin; her sister Dorothy (Clutter); her son Donald; and her husband Russell Woodworth Ames Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Gary, Russell Jr. and Debra (Simpson); and her grandchildren, Michael Simpson Jr., Stacey Simpson, Amy Hersman, Stephanie Perez, Tiffanie Ertl, Rick Johnston, Chrissy Dallaire, Russ Ames III and Jacob Ames. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
