With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stanley Alexander Ames (Tumwater, Washington), born in Oakville, Washington, who passed away on December 7, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Alexander Ames and Pauline Ames; his wife Dolores; his granddaughter June Ames; his siblings, Ed, Marg and Thelma; and his close friend Nita Onn.

He is survived by : his close friends, Jim Frost and Fred Moe; his children, Diane Elwin (John) and Robert Ames; and his grandchildren, Douglas Ames (Cherie), Tracee, Tami Elwin, Nick Ames, Torry Iyall, Alex and Susie Ames.

The family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's and Dementia Association https://www.alz.org in lieu of flowers.
