“I am sorry to hear Walter has passed away, but know that he is in Heaven with the Lord Jesus Christ and at least one other friend, Gary Granstrom. Just before Gary went into the Navy in 1976, he witnessed to Walter, and Walter believed in Christ at that moment, just as John 3:16 says. I hope this is a great comfort to those Walter left behind. Many, many years ago I knew Walter as Terry in Winnetka, and we were friends until (and after) we and our other friends went our separate ways.”
