Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Myra Vanderpool Gormley of University Place, Washington, born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, who passed away, on June 26, 2020. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John O. Vanderpool and Doris J. Vanderpool (Fricks); her husband Leo C. Gormley of University Place, Washington; her brother James H. Vanderpool of Winthrop, Washington; her nephews, John G. Vanderpool of Bremerton and John M. Grant of California; and her stepchildren, Rick Gormley of Naperville and Kyle Nelson of Juneau. She was also cherished by six grandnieces and nephews.
Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be scheduled when safe.
In lieu of flowers, donations to local Food Banks and the Red Cross are requested.
