With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvera Gaines (Walla Walla, Washington), who passed away on May 24, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nels Riomondo and Mary Riomondo; and her daughter Joanna (Kenneth). She is survived by: her husband Kenneth S. Gaines; her children, Terri Buettner (Mike) and Michael Baird; her sister Marlene Brock (Mike); her niece Mary Bollinger (Alan); her nephew Mark Riomondo (Karen); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Destinee Bollinger, Tanner Bollinger, Aniella Riomondo and Connor Riomondo.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Walla Walla Community Hospice through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home.
