He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carolyn Rose Laidlaw; his son David Laidlaw; his parents, Elvira Ellen and Melvern Ellis Laidlaw, Sr.; his sister Bonnie Belle Laidlaw; and his daughters, Julie Laidlaw and Lisa Zigweid.
