He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Newton and Ona Newton; and his sister Becky. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Perkins; his children, Lisa and Phil; his siblings, Bill and Donna; and his grandchildren, Kaila, Alex, Elizabeth, Matthew and Philip. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
