He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Ocanaz and Teodora Ocanaz; his sister Lupe Ocanaz; his brother-in-law Santos Garcia; and his nephew Gavin McEvoy.
He is survived by: his son Adrian Ocanaz-Barker of Walla Walla; and his sisters, Luis Ocanaz of Walla Walla, Debra Ocanaz of Walla Walla, Manuel Ocanaz of Walla Walla, Nelda Ocanaz of Walla Walla, Domingo Ocanaz of Walla Walla, Judy Ocanaz of Walla Walla, Maria Ocanaz-Garcia of Walla Walla, Rosie McEvoy and Rick McEvoy of Milton-Freewater. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
