With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ramona Coronado of Walla Walla, Washington, who passed away on October 14, 2020 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ramona Coronado to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hipolito Coronado and Juana DeLeon Coronado; her husband Lucio H. Coronado; and her siblings, Juaquin Coronado, Antonio Coronado, Clemente Coronado, Pablo Coronado, Jose Coronado, Alberto Coronado and Refugia Lopez.
She is survived by: her children, Genaro Coronado, Irma Leonetti (Frank), Rebecca Cruz, Abel Coronado, Ricardo Coronado and Diana Coronado Wheeler (Ron); her grandchildren, Tom Stephenson (Claudia), Jason Coronado, Justin Coronado (Dawna), Marisol Cruz, Antonio Lemus, Jr. (Amanda), Christina Arevalo (Stevan), Andrea Wheeler, Brandy Bishop (John), Joe Leonetti (Angie) and Kara Leonetti; her sister Luz Cabrales; and her siblings-in-law, Ina Coronado and Luis Coronado. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22, at Herring Groseclose Funeral Home from 1 p. m. to 5 p. m. Funeral and burial services will be private due to COVID-19 mandates.
Memorial contributions in Ramona's memory may be made to Walla Walla Community Hospice, the Walla Walla Senior Center Meals on Wheels program, and St. Patrick Parish through Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder Street in Walla Walla.
