It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Hartley (Walla Walla, Washington), born in Seattle, Washington, who passed away on March 28, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Thomson and Savannah Hanger Thomson; her husband Warren Jamieson Hartley; and her daughters, Kim Thompson and Jill Thomas of Walla Walla. She was also cherished by four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Blue Mountain Humane Society, St. Paul's Episcopal Church or Whitman College Alumni Fund through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home.
