With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Whitmire in Wenatchee, Washington, born in Leavenworth, Washington, who passed away on July 25, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Sadie Fisher (Howerton); her son Jeffery Dean Whitmire; and her siblings, Melvin, Edwin Fisher, Bernice Carpenter and Lola Bussard.
She is survived by: her husband Franklin Whitmire; and her children, Lyle Franklin Whitmire (Gerri) of Puyallup and Dale Whitmire (Jamie) of Wenatchee. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
