He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Slocum and Cora Slocum; and his son Jeff Slocum. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Slocum; his son Danny Rude of Rio Rancho; and his sisters, Joy Washburn of East Wenatchee and Kathy Ramm of Moses Lake. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
