He is survived by: his wife Tammie Adams Garrett; his sons, Jeremy Garrett (Lauren) and Kristofer Garrett; his grandsons, Ellis and Fisher Garrett; his siblings, Tracy Whitehead (Julie), Paul Whitehead and Pat Saindon; his stepmother Tressie Whitehead; his sisters-in-law, Connie Adams, Debbie Barsten (Guy) and Cindy Ficker (Dave); and his father-in-law Roy Adams. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews.
