He is survived by : his former life partner Susan J. Bernert (Sue); his children, Richard Jr., Deborah, Rick, Debbie, Anna, Jeff and Stacie; and his sister Susan. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
