With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Flaten (West Seattle, Washington), born in Eureka, California, who passed away on April 25, 2020 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Flaten to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvin Flaten and Lorrine Flaten. He is survived by : his wife Margaret Geraldine Mostoller (Gerry); his children, Pam Bowe (Andy), Mark Flaten (Angelina) and Eric Flaten (Sherrie); his grandchildren, Joshua, Nicole, Kayla, Brooke Flaten and Sean Downey; his great grandchildren, Kaiya Flaten and Jaxson Downey; his sister Jacque Busek; and his cousin Lynell Davis.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled later once the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the West Seattle Food Bank at http://www.westseattlefoodbank.org.
