She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Purdy Sr. and Rosa Purdy; her son Donavan D Lowrey; her nephew Nathan; and her siblings, David, Dale, Billy, Donnie, Rosie, Karen and Jill.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Jr. (Amy), Mat Sr. (Angelica) and Crystal G (Donald); her niece Amanda; her grandchildren, Crystal D, Jessica, Isaiah, Mat Jr. and Jerrod; her great grandchild Ethan; and her siblings, Clyde Jr., Ronnie, Jack, Jamie, Roberta, Kathy and Florence. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
