He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cipriano Morales and Margarita Granado; his former wife Debra Rosales; his daughters, Jennifer, Jessica and Sonia Rodriguez True (Morales); his son-in-law Patrick True of Yakima; his granddaughter Reina; his daughter Sophia Morales; his son-in-law Jacob Johnson; his grandchildren, Emiliana, Ethan and Tiler of Bellingham; his nephew Armando Morales (Megan); his daughter Emma of Los Angeles, California.; and his brother John Morales (Lena) of Colorado Springs. He was also cherished by the oldest of three.
Joe also enjoyed volunteering as a patient driver for the Veterans Administration and picking up food donations from grocery stores for the Union Gospel Mission.
