We are sad to announce that on April 7, 2022, at the age of 64, Karen Marie Brown of Yakima, Washington, born in Salmon, Idaho passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, MarDean Cook Brown (Weeks) and Owen Jack "Bill" Brown; her brother Cary Brown; her sibling's children, Debra Brown and Jonathan Brown (Ken Powers); her brother-in-law Rudy Head of Pacific Beach; and her friend Yvonne Lee of Yakima.

She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Lewis; her son-in-law Cody Lewis; her grandson Kyle Lewis of Richland; and her siblings, Sheryl Kelly (Bill Wiseman) of Selah, Linda Brown of Yakima, Sandra Brown of Pacific Beach and Brad Brown (Barbara) of Selah. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

For 13 years she found camaraderie among the Department of Corrections (Teamsters Local 760) as a Booking Office Specialist, where she was famous for bringing in home baked goods to share, until she had to retire early due to her COVID illness.
