He was predeceased by: his mother Tawni; and his grandmother Arlene. He is survived by: his children, Mazy Marie and Braylon; his brother Anthony; his grandfather Glen; his uncle Glen; and his aunts, Jonni and Traci.

Rafe was very proud of receiving the Gates Foundation collegiate scholarship in his senior year.
