He was predeceased by: his parents, B. E. Gleason (Ted) and Bertha Gleason; his former wife Phyllis Gleason; and his siblings, Beth Bucknum and Don Gleason.
He is survived by: his wife Alene Babcock Gleason; and his children, Linda Rutherford (Roy), David Gleason (Babs), Carol Vander Houwen (Ted) and Laura Pruchinsky. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
