He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Sedge and Effie Sedge; his sisters, Gladys, Charlotte, Betty and Myrna; his daughter-in-law Christy; and his son Stacey.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Sedge; his children, Jim and Vinda; and his niece Tammy Vetsch.

He was extremely proud of his life size Elk Masterpiece that he made for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation headquarters in Missoula Montana.
