He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Dowty and Viola Dowty (Kobs); his siblings, Laura Banach of Stevens Point, Robert of Pewaukee, James (Louise) of Waldo, Raymond of Waukesha and Paul (Pam) of Oconomowoc; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Dowty, George Dowty (Lois), Howard Dowty, Audrey Dowty and John Banach.
He is survived by: his spouse Virginia L. Klein; his children, Kimberly Johnson of Waldo, Patricia Mattiss (Bo) of Jacksonville, FL and Martin (Heather) of Andover; his grandchildren, Melissa Marquardt (Shaun), Stephanie, Crystal (Brian Brunner), Holly, Kayla Johnson, Robert Matiss, Jennifer Matiss, Christina Hudson (Rob), Emma Dowty and Alan Dowty; and his sister-in-law Gloria Dowty of Waukesha.
