He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kumrow and Anna Kumrow; and his siblings, Beverly Garbisch, Russell Kumrow and Ronald Kumrow.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Mike Kumrow, Karen Alsteen (Dale) and Kristine Weyker; his grandchildren, Tara Biever (Brandon) and Darin Alsteen; his great grandchild Brayden Biever; and his sister Alice Reiser. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
