Nila L. Mael Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nila L. Mael (Almond, Wisconsin), who passed away on May 18, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Jacob J. Mehne and Anna P. C. Mehne (Kleist); her husband Gordon F. Mael; her siblings, Vera Otto (Harvey), Ruth Mehne, Oscar (Eunice), Jacob (Eleanor), Harold (Helen), Robert (Rose), Allen and Lyle Mehne; and her nieces and nephews, Linda Otto, Ann Lillyroot, Christine Chilewski, John and Richard Mehne.
She is survived by : her daughter Paula Komurka (Van) of West Bend, WI; her grandsons, Andrew Komurka (Elisabeth) and Joel Komurka; her nephews, Rev. William Otto (Paula), Donald Otto (Terri) and Herbert Mehne (Judy); and her cousins, Betty Wohlfeil (Mehne), Randy Wohlfeil (Patti), Laurie Wohlfeil and Wendy Colin (Todd).
Due to COVID-19, it is requested that masks be worn and social distancing be observed throughout the visitation and services on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to plan an expression of sympathy may consider a memorial in Nila's name to St. John's Lutheran Church in Almond, the LWML, Lutheran Hour Ministries, or Camp Luther.
