It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Marie Newman of Altoona, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ann Marie Newman to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Vernon Shafer and Marietta Shafer (Spores); her siblings, Leroy, Dennis, Bruce, David, Mike, Shirley and Bonnie; her son James Rasmussen; her grandson Corey Rasmussen; her son-in-law Daryl Berg; and her son Leonard Rasmussen.

She is survived by : her pet Lexi; her children, Marie Pagenkopf (Jeff), Sheri Sonnentag (Pat), Joyce Berg and Andy Rasmussen (Jolene); her siblings, Linda Baugher (Bruce) and Joe Shafer (Durene); and her great grandchild Tyler Smith. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
