It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Vivian Christiansen of Amery, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 11, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Helen Lofberg and Olaf Lofberg; her sisters, Martha (Foss), Laverne (Constant) and Ruth (Jeffery); her husband Robert William Christiansen; her children, Linda Louise, Thomas Robert, Susan Marie (Rusch) and Robert Thomas; and her husband Mike.
She is survived by : her daughter Karen; her close friend Susan Rusch; her grandchildren, Tony and Laura; her children, Ana, Tyler, Avery, Emily, Sarah, Daisy, Leo and Jaydn; her former life partner Christopher Mick; her children, Becky, Christian Foust and Jen; her former life partner Julie Dauer; her foster daughter Reign; her children, Jordy, Josie and Julia; her former life partner Paul Christensen; her sons, John and Tim (Melissa); her daughter-in-law Donna Mumm; her stepchildren, Sean (Chris) and Maggie Christiansen (Collin Kuhn); her children, Sophia, Pauline, Iris, Cooper and Knox; and her nieces and nephews, Roger Foss, John Foss, Larry Foss, Janice Foss, Tom Constant, Brian Jeffrey and Joyce Jeffrey. She is also survived by 7 children, 23 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 7 nephews and nieces.
After living there for two years, Irene moved to Sophie's Manor for a year (during COVID which was challenging for her).
