He was predeceased by: his parents, John Beckon and Myrtle Beckon (Sylte); his parents-in-law, Oscar and Idella Arneson; his sister Imogene Curtis; his brothers-in-law, Sarge Curtis and Eugene Gregor; his sister Ardis Beckon; and his nephew Aaron Beckon.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Keating (Steve) and Brian Beckon (Sue); his grandchildren, Deserae Keating, Darby Beckon and Jake Beckon; his wife Diane Beckon; his siblings, LaDonna Clark and Craig Beckon (Vickie); and his siblings-in-law, Betty Gregor, Sue Peskar (Stan) and Frank Arneson (Vero). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
