He is survived by: his wife Diane Ahrens of Appleton; his children, Keith Ahrens (Elisa) of Combined Locks, Kerry Gorges (Jason) of Hortonville and Kristine Maves (Daron) of Hortonville; his grandchildren, Olivia Ahrens, Andie Ahrens, Walker Gorges, Sydney DeGrave (Jacob), Bailey Maves (Ryan Cable), Brady Maves (Jamie Cummings) and Bryce Maves; his great grandchildren, Christopher Cummings and Maverick Maves; his siblings, Dennis Ahrens, Marianne Kau (Robert) and Karen Hechel (Ralph); his siblings-in-law, Neil Schmidt (Diane), Ronald Schmidt and Kathy Schmidt; his father-in-law Homer Schmidt (Ruth); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Schmidt and Garry Schmidt (Donna). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
