It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duwayne M. Nieland of Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 2, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Nieland and Lillian Nieland (Hauschultz); his son Michael Lee Nieland; his brothers, Dennis Nieland and Pete Nieland; his parents-in-law, Harold and Mathilda Zempel; his siblings-in-law, Tom Trinrud, Terry Osterberg and Shirley Osterberg; his nephew Jamie Timm; and his great-nephew Aaron Strey.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his son Jeffrey Scott Nieland (Julie) of Newark, Illinois; his granddaughter Crystal Ann Nieland of Yorkville, Illinois; his daughter-in-law Connie Nieland of Omro, Wisconsin; his stepgrandchildren, Chad Boettcher (Angie) of Menasha and Jessica Boettcher of Menasha; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jameson, Ethan, Gavin and Jaxson; his siblings, Gary Nieland (Diane) and Donna Trinrud of Waupaca; and his sisters-in-law, Jo Nieland of Green Bay and Bev Nieland of New London. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
