It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Courtney of Appleton, Wisconsin, born in Kimberly, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 8, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry DeLeeuw and Catherine DeLeeuw (Verhoven); her husband Kenneth E. Courtney; and her siblings, Joseph, Harold, Clarence DeLeeuw, Madge Perry, Dorothy Oppelt, Ann Ketels, Theresa Hackstock and Rosie Kraus.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Courtney (Kathy) and Mark Courtney (Barb) of Wilmington, NC.; her grandchildren, Rebecca Loofboro (Christopher), Andrew Courtney (Kimberly), Alyson Courtney of Oceanside, CA and Travis Courtney (Lark Starkey) of LaJolla, CA; and her sister Marlene VanAbel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
