It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Germaine Bartel of Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Goerl and Esther Goerl; her husband Arden Bartel; her children, Gary and Judy; her daughter-in-law Dawn Bartel; and her sister Elaine Scott.
She is survived by: her children, Byron and Carol Sloan; her son-in-law Hugh; her grandchildren, Todd Bartel (Brenda), Chad (Pattie), Shelbi Ross (Ron), Eric Sloan and Kevin Sloan; her great grandchildren, Zachary Bartel (Maggie), Elizabeth Bartel, Taylor and Jordan Ross; and her great great grandchild Lillian Bartel. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
