He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Pomplun and Fred Pomplun; and his brothers, Darwin and James. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Susan (John Pekel) and Darrell Pomplun (Connie); and his grandchildren, Amy Boivin (Brad), Katie Mingledorff (Nashville), Samantha Goddard (Zach), Josh Pekel (Autumn) and Justin Pekel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to radio ministry at Faith Lutheran Church.
