He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Buss and Adeline Buss (Brandes); his son Derek James Buss; and his sister Sue Terrell. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Buss; his siblings, Patricia Drzewiecki, Robert Buss (Sue) and Kay Keberlein (Gerald); his daughter Heidi Buss; his stepchildren, Nora Breuer-Grubbs (Peter), Christopher Wilcox (Pam) and Minneapolis; and his grandchildren, Derek Buss Jr., Adelynn Buss, Vada Buss, Christy Breuer, Jimmy Breuer and Miles Wilcox. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and sisters and brothers in law.
