He was predeceased by: his parents, Leona Satre Helgeson and Joe Helgeson of Appleton, Wisconsin.; his brother Thomas Helgeson; his parents-in-law, James and Mae Twetan; and his nephew Paul Seul.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia Twetan; his sons, John Helgeson (Erin), Eric Helgeson (Jill) and Jeff Helgeson (Lorelei); his grandchildren, Brandon Helgeson, Alek Helgeson, Kalee Helgeson and Trip Helgeson; his sister Joan Seul (Rudy); and his nephews, Joe and Chris Seul.
