He was predeceased by: his mother Carol Spangenberg; and his sister Ruth Spangenberg. He is survived by: his father Ivan "Ike" Spangenberg of Appleton, WI; his brother Carl Spangenberg; his sister-in-law Lisa Spangenberg (Malon) of Thiensville, WI; and his niece Holly Wagner (Spangenberg) of Evanston, IL. He is also survived by three aunts; an uncle; and several cousins.
