He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandchildren, Meghan (Eric), Talan, Leif, Reid and Jason; his wife Beth; his mother Mary Steckbauer; his brothers, Paul, Tom and Steve; his siblings-in-law, Brian Lake (Candy), Andy Lake (Laura), Bob Lake (Melissa), Kate McConnell (Josh) and Laurie Frisch (Mike); and his father Paul Steckbauer. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the Fox Valley Brain Tumor Coalition at the Neurospine Center of Wisconsin, 5320 W. Michaels Dr., Appleton, WI 54913.
