He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hinz and Amanda Hinz (Schoenick); his sisters, Marge Schleitwiler and Phyllis Hass; and his siblings-in-law, Norm Schleitwiler, Lester Winkler, Glenn Haas, Ken Falk, Bill Strelow, Mel Steil, Chuck Purdom, Claude Radtke and Sandy Radtke.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hinz; his daughter Linda Croak (Marty); his grandchildren, Patrick Croak, Claudia Harke, Erik Harke, Aurora Hinz and Catherine Hinz; his siblings, Buzz Hinz (Marion) and Dorie Falk; and his sisters-in-law, Verna Purdom and Delores Steil. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family has requested everyone in attendance be vaccinated and wear a mask.
