He is survived by: his sons, Gary Whitman (Nancy) of Antigo, Edward Whitman (Patricia) of Stevens Point, Mark Whitman (Debra) of Appleton and Joseph Whitman of Stevens Point; his grandchildren, Nicholas Whitman (Chris) of Tonawanda, Amy Whitman of Oshkosh, David Whitman of Downers Grove, Stephen Whitman of Stevens Point, Melissa Whitman (Judy Schreifels) of Minneapolis, Heather Herbst (Sam) of Everett, Ryan Whitman (Tessa) of Maplewood, Holly Whitman of Appleton, Robert Whitman of Indianapolis and Olivia Whitman of Reno, Nevada; his great grandchildren, Zach Collins of Philadelphia, Connor Collins of Eau Claire, Paul Whitman of Downers Grove, Charlie Herbst of Everett, Jakob Herbst of Everett, Rose Herbst of Everett, Willow Whitman of Appleton, Jacoby Essler of Appleton and Piper Whitman of Maplewood, Minnesota.; and his sisters-in-law, Alice Claypool and Jean Willer. He is also survived by grandfather figure, not only to his ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
